Absolute trash video. Let me tell you the hardest part of a knot, without telling me how to establish the knot. YouTube algorithms are garbage for even promoting this as key knowledge
Nice & simple!
To get maximum strength out of the uni knot make sure to not pull too tightly on the tag end before moving the knot down to the eye. Just pull a little move it down, pull a little more on the tag, and then finally pull tight on the standing line but only when the knot is directly above the eye. This avoids all degradation of your line/tippet caused by cinching too hard on the tag at first and then pulling the standing line to lower the knot down. It adds more time to the knot but it will guarantee that your line/tippet will break before the knot. Test it out.

Excellent instruction on the uni knot. Unfortunately what makes this video hard to watch is your constant use of the word "alls". "All is never plural and you don't use a contraction in this sentence. You should say "All you got to do…" not "Alls you got to do…" as you would never say "All is you got to do". You could say "All is well" or "All's well". though Thats alls I gots to say for now….
Both knots good. The Uni is my favorite and I use it most of the time. However I would never use any of these 2 with a circle hook like the vid. for that I would snell my hook
