2) Carolina Rig 10-30gr(creature bait)
1) Dropshot rig 7-20gr(shad)
Decent information but I think slip sinker at 1.30 should be orientated in the other direction to prevent snags.
Good quality informative video ty
What's a jig? And, what's a "jighead"? Is it a weighted hook? (hook with weight attached) Or, a floating hook (hook with floater attached).
Like it better than the original>>>nub.best/uynr Prefer the metal guides vs the plastic the original had. At first thought it wasn't as stiff as I like but noticed you could "feel" what the fish was doing a lot better than other poles. Use it with reels loaded with 12lb all the way to 40lb. Great all around pole
How is the rig attached to your line though? Not the jig. The rig.
I just got this Shakespeare Catch More Fish Walleye rig at WalMart, couldn't pass up the deal. It came with a rod and casting reel and a small case with some tackle….but I like that the pole breaks down in half with an elastic inside like a tent pole, and you can secure the tip of the pole down by the handle using a little elastic thing they put down there. I used to fish everyday as a child, and ate many, the big ones. I think most of the fish I caught were blue gills, once in a while I caught a trout. I didn't keep the karp. But I'm 64 now…I haven't fished for 55 some years! I think this is a nice rig for the low $ I spent, and am trying to figure out where exactly I want to fish…maybe the parks? Maybe I'll just release them, but should be fun. Actually, I tour by bicycle, just something fun and new. Maybe I'll take this with me. I'm interested in survival training too. If it hadn't been for Shakespeare's new low cost kit, I wouldn't have any gear…so thanks fellows.
Has this dude ever been to the Detroit river?
that is completely crap that is not a bottom bouncer it is a standard drift rig
