Great video this is gonna really help my selection on lures today 👍
Blue Fox vibrax#3 and 4 or Mepps #3 and 4 work great here in Michigan for pond bass.
This is awesome info thank you !!
Thats all good. But my bass here in the northeast PA are being super tempermental. They are biting on very very little.
Biggest bass I caught in a large pond was about 9 pounds on a red shad culprit 9 inch worm.Still my go to lure.pop r are really fun to use.

There is no better pond bait than a frog.
The most entertaining way to catch a bass.
I LOVE walking poppers
That's What makes the River2Sea Bubble Walker one of my favorite baits of all time
What kind of bait caster do you prefer that isn’t to expensive
U gotta run wacky rigged zoom worm
Sweet gloves……lol like the dude in the gym w the fingerless gloves. LIke that old man driving a porsche w gloves on……cmon dude that is corny
Seriously, what is with all of the grunting when you catch a fish, you're not catching a great white. Lol
1 out of 3 for me. Chatterbait sucks around here and I'd rather have a spinnerbait with a paddle tail trailer. I'd trade the pop R for a Spro poppin frog cause if they'll eat that they'll eat a frog and you can't throw that pop R into the reeds and stickups etc. like I do a frog. The Senko I 100% agree with.
Devil's horse broke back rebel plastic worm
Most small lakes or ponds have that slime weed or wood around. My best bait to use is a zoom Magnum shakey head worm with a 3/0 or 4/0 worm hook. I use light spinning gear with no weights added. I usually catch fish wherever I go. I bury the hook in the worm to make it weedless. I like to use green pumpkin. The slow fall gets them all the time. I also would recommend a zoom lizard rigged the same way. Pumpkin Pepper.
Boring
So I can't use night crawlers. Lol
Pick up a “rooster tail” lure from your local tackle shop. The secret is this; go small. Don’t pick a big one thinking you’ll get bigger fish. I’ve caught everything from 2” bait fish all the way up to 20” Largemouth on the SMALLEST rooster tail size.
When it comes to color, I’ve always had the best luck using the bright white color, but I have at least 3 other colors with me at all times just in case.
Best of luck out there & tight lines
Naa, here's your list for ponds. 1.) For a spinnerbait you need a white or yellow snagless salley. 2.) Virtually any 6 to 8 inch plastic worm in either green pumpkin, junebug, black, or purple depending on water color. 3.) For early morning and late evening top water a 110 size Whopper Plopper. I have made so many friends break down and ask me for a Snagless Salley while fishing a pond together it isn't funny. I have no idea why more people don't know about and use them. Best spinnerbait for shallow water ponds by far. Worms for the weeds and grass. And if you haven't used a Whopper Plopper yet you don't know what you are missing. Best top water plug period. Easy to use with just a steady retrieve. Tail spinning makes a nice gurgling sound and throws a perfect little flit of water with each rotation just like a baitfish fluttering on the surface. I'm telling you if you drag it over a big bass they got to have it. Great big bass lure.

I want a hat …
Why does the wid help with chatterbaits?…I've never heard this before….great content though!….I subbed. Keep the video coming. I love pond fishing for bass!
That wacky worm does it for me
Are you putting any weight on that wacky rig? Or just senko and hook ?
1. Jitterbug
2. Zoom or Bass stopper purple worm
3. Ribbit frog/ weighted double hook
This for any Ohio ponds
I can never have enough hats
Why do I catch more bass in this private quarry we call the mine hole. We sneak in and fish early morning. A lot of ppl go. One time it almost got fished out. But why do I catch more fish there then I do in a pond ? We leave with like 10-15 bass
