We just made a whole cookie sheet of these poppers. In the oven now. We used jalapenos that I grew in my garden. Can't wait to try them.
Very similar to the last recipe I made, and they were a big hit with my husband. Soooo good. Well done video. Thank you!(oh, and my recipe asked for only the egg whites, so good to know that I can use a whole egg.)
Thank you for mentioning gloves for sensitive hands. By the way, if you do start to feel burning on your hands, or are concerned you might, rubbing alcohol will help cut the oils carrying those chemicals.
After 18 years in Texas, I know that some people's hands are more sensitive than their mouths.
I'm looking forward to making these; no deep frying!

Is the reason you use an egg wash is so you can apply the bread crumbs?
Reason I ask is, while watching this an idea occurred to me, that is mixing the bread crumbs with a small amount of butter, (kind of like making a cheese cake crust) then just swiping the mixture on top of the cheese with a butter knife. What are your thoughts??
By the way I love your videos!! Thanks for taking the time to share. I have made the pecan cinnamon rolls and this is a game changer!!
Many many thanks! 🙂
PS,
I use the discarded seeds and membrane. I mince them up fine and add it to the cheese mixture, it really boosts up the temperature. 😁
I’m coming over to your house! 🤤 🍴
Lol no kidding about the burning skin. One time when I cut the stem off a pepper it looked like a witch’s nose so I put it on my nose and laughed like one. Big mistake.
🌶 🔥 😱😳
Why bother with the egg?
Can you not just bread the top?
Does this diminish the heat
Loved these! My only changes were that I skipped the egg since the crumbs stick to the cream cheese filling quite well and used crushed butter crackers instead of bread crumbs. Super tasty! Thank you!
I tried breading jalapeño poppers and after 4 trips back and forth through egg wash, fine breadcrumbs, egg wash, thick breadcrumbs, over and over and the breading would NOT stick to the pepper, just the cheese. So thank you for this video because you made my mistake look like I did it on purpose 😂👌
Can I use panko breadcrumbs?
You know that age old don’t touch your self after eating spicy finger food
Well I touched my woman after eating spicy food at first it was a disaster but it turned into something beautiful
I made these and they are freaking delicious!! Super easy too!!
How did yours stay flat on the pan? Trim the bottom of the pepper, perhaps? Mine fell over to one side, but they were ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!
This guy is amazing! Have made his soft pretzels and folded fabric ornaments … both of which turned out awesome! Keep the videos coming!
Wash your pepper hands with lemon juice.
Made these and they came out amazing! So delicious! Thank you for the recipe!
These best thing I've ever made!! My husband when to the store the next day for some more Jalapeños so I can made then again. 😊 Love your page!
Just took this recipe for a spin and it turned out awesome 🙂 Thank you for such an informative video!
Only differences were that I used turkey bacon as opposed to traditional bacon, used a mix of grated pepperjack and grated cheddar that I added to the cream cheese and didn't bother with the bread crumbs portion of the recipe. I'm always amending things 😛
Can't wait to try these! They look delicious!
yes!
I thought you said your hands were sensitive in the last video? Why aren't you wearing gloves?
mmm they look delicious
Great recipe! We will make these tonight – really! I watched your fried popper video from a couple years ago and your hands were sensitive to the peppers….now they are not? Interesting. Good advice on the hand washing. Pepper in your eye is bad. We will replace bacon for sausage on some. YUM YUM!
I subscribed! Your recipes are easy to follow and I like the tips you gave. I hope to see more frequent videos from you. Thank you!
looks so yummy. I'm hungry now!:)
you can also soak the jalapeno halves in milk to get rid of the spicy taste.About 10 minutes each batch.
I can't wait make some!
can you make a veggie burger in your future recipe?
Great video!
By the way, you sound a lot like Matt Dillahunty.
These look delicious… I'm going to try them… Thank you !
I'm not a fan of Jalapeño peppers but everyone else in my family is.. These look really good and easy to make!
Thank you 4 sharing! 🙂
I'll certainly try this tonight! I like how they look with the breading just on top.
Ok so this is probably going to sound like a stupid question, but I've never eaten a jalapeño popper in my entire life because I have low heat sensitivity. These look so amazing I would love to try them. When you bake the peppers does it cut the heat? Like when onions and garlic get cooked?
these are so good! but whatever you do, do not accidently buy jalapeno cream cheese to put in them. Omg, we all almost died. even my mexican friends who eat straight habaneros. Lol.
i just listened to your crochet tutorial for the waffle scarf. Thank you so much for taking the time . You are excellent at teaching crochet i wish you would do another tutorial on crochet maybe a hat or more complex stitches . Thank you and have a wonderful day
looks straightforward and great
