Easy ice fishing tip up alarm for under $3.00!!
Ice fishing alarm I rigged. Alarm was around $2 from Amazon and hardware maybe another .50. This alarm works great all winter even fished them at -15 this year. Takes about 3-5 minutes to make each one and be sure the batteries are good when you get the alarm or it might not last as long in cold weather.

I made something similar out of these last year for my Laker tip-ups.. They worked AMAZING … BUT…. The batteries only last one over-nighter trip, maybe two before all they can produce is a low buzz sound rather than that awesome siren!… I'm going to mod them this year to run off 9v batteries this year for longer run-time…
