When a couple of warms days hit in the middle of January, my dad and I decided to hit the lake to try out luck. We were fishing for stripers and hybrid when we came across a couple of big brown trout suspended in the middle of the lake feeding on shad! These are a seriously tasty fish to catch and cook….
