Kayaking Summersville Lake in West Virginia

We kayaked Summersville Lake in West Virginia and checked out Long Point and Pirate’s Cove and many other coves and caves along the way. We paddled about 8.5 miles and crossed the lake on the way back from Long Point. It was an amazing day followed by an awesome dinner at Alfredo’s restaurant (not shown in video). Amazing food there.

Last time I went the lake was drained like 70 feet was this video filmed this year because I’d love to go back but I don’t want to waste the drive and not be able to climb above the water. And jump off certain spots
Wow, thanks for pointing out this video. Those cliffs and caves are amazing!!! I went white water rafting down in West Virginia way back in the day but haven't done much traveling in that state other than driving through it. Seeing your video reminds me that we definitely need to spend some time there, though!!! The squirt gun looks like a fun way to cool off on a hot day. 🙂
