I fish Lake of the Ozarks alot. And I prefer a 1/2 oz. Black and black flipping jig with a Uncle josh pork trailer.
Thanks for your information.
It is dec year 2021 great video thank you so much. Wayne in ga
Love your stuff, you're my new favorite channel!
Now that's a swim bait, holy cow!
I've had much better success with a lipless than anything else. I let it hit bottom and burn it near bottom, pure chrome and black
could not really see the lures except the enormous one at the end. 15 min video should have a little fishing, not just showing off a bunch of baits on the wrong poles. I was just kind of surprised by this
super helpful
thank you brother, I'm on Hartwell in SC, you're on the money with all these.
Anybody else noticed that ol Gene’s opinions and videos really match the Tactical Bassin’s techniques, lure recommendations….. It’s almost plagiarism
Surprised A rig not mentioned?
Gene love the videos man. Was wondering when you do these bait videos can you do underwater footage of them as well? Looking foward to the next one.
Im in Queens NYC where the bass goin?,and what lure am I gonna use?
First time watching you. I dont want to sound like an a$$ but I am the Fluke Master. Haha. I have caught more fish on a fluke then any other bait by far. Of coarse i am kidding. (Kinda)
Very informative my man….. short and to the point… It’ll be a little while here in south Ga. for me but I’m ready for some cold weather fishing… Something different… I’m still catch em on frogs with some good sun mid day.. Especially when the majors midday.. Tight lines
Gene where you get your boat from? I’m looking into a xp pro 200.
Yess! Thanks for this video 🙂
What about a dropshot or Carolina rig?
Your going to crack a giant on a big bait I can sense it 👹👹👹
I love the jig and big swimbaits in the winter. whoooo weee. They get got.
What weight jig do you use in the summer vs. fall vs. winter?
I recently tried using a tube as a trailer on my jigs during the colder months and was surprised how well it worked. I suppose the extra bulk and slightly slower fall from the air inside made the difference. Even tried the old trick of stuffing a little cotton inside the tube (without the alka-seltzer) to get a few extra bubblies. Always fun trying something new.
dude! my water temps in VA are ALREADY 39 – 45!!!! CRAZY like fall didn't even happen in VA.
Gene, must be great living in the south fishing into December. NJ lakes are partially frozen over, daily air temp average 35 and lower. How about some tips and info for us up here in the northeast.
Are you throwing a 1/2 oz or 3/4oz lipless?
These videos have helped me so much. You are a national treasure.
Dreading ice season here in the northeast 😢
I usually throw a Huddleston or a jointed Glide Bait. I never tried my 9” Bucca Shad in the Fall or Winter ..Keep us updated on that swim bait !!! 👍
I enjoyed watching the video. I am a huge fan! Thank you for all the work that you put into it.
If I don’t have chunks but I have a rage craw will that work
Winter huh… Nice short sleeves shirts. It's actually winter where I live. 20 degrees. So that doesn't help anyone up here.
The Flukemaster….. getting it done!
