The In Deep on the Delta Report Weekly Fishing Report for 8/25/2022.
This week everyone is catching fish, unfortunately they’re mostly on the small side. Poor tides and hot weather may be the problem. This week’s bigger tides and cooler weather should get the bite in gear. If you’re heading out this week make sure to keep fast moving top water baits like the whopperplopper and buzz bait tied on early and late. Frogs and punching should produce through out mid day. Check out the report for a full run down.Send reports to scooper9561032@gmail.com

Caught over 30 fish Last Sat. on the kayak. Fished all day. 6am till 8:15pm. I did not catch my first fish till 8:30 am then it was on and off in 30min intervals. Just before Dark it was on for about 45 min. Lots of 3lb fish. Ready to go again.
Steve talks oddly. Rig he says ryig. Fish he says fyish. What is this dialect??
Thanks
Meant fleet
Thanks for the report do think removing the salt wall by the mothball cleats change the bass fishing since your saltwater at the Antioch bridge and Pier what do you think??
Thanks
We got 18 in the boat by 1130. Biggest was 2.5. But still had fun
Thanks Steve. Always watch this. Just went out Monday am. 6-730 the frog bite was on. Got 3. Had about 15 blow up between my friend and I. About 9 it slowed down. Flipping a 1/4 ounce Texas rig and weightless senco. Got a punch bite. But couldn’t connect. Hope this help’s anyone
Thanks for putting my picture in the first spot and putting me in your report 🙂 Steve.

Great video! Thanks for the information. A video on moon phases and how that affects the bite would be very helpful!
Thanks for the report Steve. Yes, any size bass caught this time of year is fine with me, just looking for numbers… As far as looking for bigger bass, I would be fishing into the night, as that might be a good time up to 12:00am.
Mr Cooper tanks for your time and your reports I’ll like them all have a great day or night
Making my way to clear lake next week! Hopefully I get on some fish!
Thanks for the report Steve. Always appreciate your time and dedication.👍
Gotta fish that no moon. Thanks for the tips Steve, Hope you get your big one!
Much appreciated Steve!
Hey you are spot on your spot on it is a shift it is a ecological change in our fishery that we will have to adjust to
Thanks for the shout out Steve.
Sorry about the photo quality. It was a mad scramble up the rip rap bank and weeds to my scale. I wanted to get it weighed, photoed and then back down to the bank as quick as possible.
Not easy at 66, but doable.
I'll send both, if not ? I'm ok with that.
Thanks For the Rod Tips.
Coop!
