Heres a few shots from the summer, fly fishing for 'Sea Run Cutthroat' in a few places along the coast. That is Mike Braun in the photos with the green shirt. We fished a variety of flys this summer including woolys, muddlers, elk hair caddis, stimulators and even fooled a few into hitting a trout bead under an indicator. In one spot we had a double hookup on 16"s with one on the dry and one on a wet.

Cutthroat numbers are improving and holding steady in some location but I believe that healthy salmon and steelhead runs will be a key factor in their survival. I think that their life cycle somewhat parallels that of the dolly, a fish that is entirely dependent on the strength of the other runs.
