here is a 9lb hatchery hen caught on the upper sandy...... took her on a clown birdie drifter and a small hit of eggs.

then a couple casts later I picked up her smaller sister on the same presentation.

some of my best fishing memories are on the sandy chasing chrome and I'll be down there this year looking for more :D

I do not think I have ever posted this one, forgot about it...from when I whent fishing with David and Andy last year. we all got a fish that day and they were all chrome. Not bad for batting clean up that day with a late start...

I love winter steelhead fishing, but by the time it's coming to an end I'm ready for some after work summer steelhead t-shirt drifts. That first photo makes me long for warmer days.
