First time out fishing with a new Pentax Optio W80 camera that Chrissy got me as a gift. I wanted something a bit lighter and waterproof for days that the nikon should be in a warm dry house or I need to pack light for a hike. I got invited to hang out with these 2 dudes so I gave it a try. These 2 dudes? You know who Osmosis is but who the heck is this snagged guy? Thats Craig! You might remember him as the winner of our Lamiglas hat contest last year....and he is still sporting the lid, and it seems to have a bit of luck behind it : p

We can pretty much always count on Alan to give us something exciting to take photos of. Here a dandy broodstock fish was hooked while side drifting mid day. The new camera handled the action well in the good lighting but how it handles dark rainy days will be on my points of interest card as I figure this little thing out. As far as handling the steelhead these 2 boys did just fine ; )
