Does anyone know if I can get my Ipod wired directly to my truck without having to buy a whole new stereo? I'm sick of the radio on long drives. I guess I could just call car toys in the morning, but I figured I'd see if anyone here had any info. I've tried those am/fm tuner things and they suck! I need a direct connection.
Thanks!
Ryank
the iPod AM/FM tuner works just fine IMO. Do you have the stock basic player in your truck?
Yes, you can get it wired directly to your truck.

Yes it's stock, the tuner doesn't work very well because it get's fuzzy in certain areas and sounds like crap more often than not. If I could get it directly wired it would always work. I just don't want to spend alot, it's not super high on my priority list but if I could get it done for a decent price I'd do it.

Thank you Gabe, but you have clearly mistaken me for someone who is smart enough to understand that stuff!
HEHE You're welcome. The trick is to not be afraid and just dig in. :D
So with that said, it's probably cheaper to just buy a new unit with an external audio jacks and then the 3.5 mil adapter from PIE.
Or go the cheese route and get some small desktop speakers that don't need power and just tape them to the dash :D
