GSP of Koscheck?

Who do you want to win the title this weekend? I like GSP, and I do think Koscheck is a ****y dude, but I would love to see Koscheck put the hurt on GSP...if it is at all possible. I guess I like rooting for the underdog.

You could be right about that prediction. Koscheck is a D!ck, but I just want to see the belt move along. I just hope it is a good fight and both fighters put their all into it. I'm not a fan of the title bouts where both guys play it safe for 3 rounds and do the minimum to squeek out a win.

GSP via kimura would be my guess, Koscheck is a great fighter but a total D-bag.

So yeah. The headline, title fight was like all the rest, since like UFC 55... the play it safe game sucks! I hate watching 5 rounds of poor boxing. Oh well, the prelims were absolutely wicked for the most part! A great KO, gnar heel hook, and a brutal ground n pound by a 7 footer. Zuffa needs to revamp title fights. Maybe bring back a little bit of Pride rules. If they had a 10 minute first round, these fights wouldn't last 5 rnds. Grind em hard for 10, and see who is really Tuff! Hahaha! I'm getting bored with UFC in general. Even the WEC has generally, more entertaining fights... like Football. The collegiate boys dig harder than the pros usually. Still, a great card, and lots of great battles, plus I got to watch it with a new friend. So I had lots of fun! Anyone else besides Ed n Ryan catch it?

Skunky, you are gonna love the Ed Fast float! If he is in classic, "Ed" form, it will be entertaining. Even if the fishing is red, effin hot, your best memories are going to be of some guy on the sticks, actin like Too Short, or beltin Slingblade quotes... Mmmmhuh. Some people call it a kaiser blade, I call it a sling blade...mmmmhuh. hahahahaha! I love bobbin around OR rivers with Ed. Great dude, you guys r gonna have fun!

I didn't get to see it. Was going to go to the marathon to watch with a couple of friends, but they both had lame excuses come up at the last minute so I just went christmas shopping.

I do like the marathon taverna. Great atmosphere for Portland bars. And a good menu too. It makes all the difference when you sit there for 2-3 hours watchin fights, if you can get a decent meal!

That straight jab is a killer for GSP, but I want to see these types of fighters, brawl it out. Make us think that it is the only thing that matters in life! Hahaha! I'm just jokin, but, I would like to see a little...more? out of top tier fighters. The prelims were more exciting than the main, but that's ok, I too thought the top of his eye was gonna burst everytime he sorta blinked! Totally rad that GSP just kept rattlin away at it! Pretty much blinds his right side.

OK I watched the fights. WOW that eye. the fight had a clear winner, but it was 25 minutes of pretty boring stuff. The other fights were better. They keep talking about GSP vs Silva, but if that happens I think Silva would totally annihilate GSP. Oh but wait..they would probably both just circle eachother for 25 minutes and throw like 5 punches.

I also watched the strikeforce fight with Hendo beating Babalu. Lindland got knocked out so bad. I hate seeing such a harsh KO. It can't be good for the dude.

A couple weeks ago I watched Manny Pacquiao deliver such an awesome beating to Margarito. That is fighting. 5 and 6 punch combinations from round 1 to round 12. Manny didn't have the knock out power, but I believe he could have knocked him out sometime after the 9th round...he just had mercy I think.

Strikeforce was awesome! Lindland gets beat on pretty good, every once in a while, but wait til his next fight...he's gonna be nuts! It is good to se Dan Henderson beat out Henato Sobral. They go back a long time, and seeing the new school Hendo win, is fun again! Used to be my idol when I wrestled for a minute in middle/high school.
