The float turned out to be very nice today with several fish caught and almost perfect for January wheather. I know there are a bunch of photos from several cameras so if you like, post em here.

Big thanks to everyone who came and conquered this beautiful day with us. Big thanks to Dave for hooking the group float up. Big thanks to Tracy and Stuart for helping with the shuttles. There was sandwich makers that deserve a big thanks as well. It was so totaly well worth all the effort, IM sure everyone would agree. We lucked out with our wheather and our 10 to 2 water temps! Look forward to seeing some of the photos Tommorow!

These are going to get better as time goes on but here are the underwater action shots. For some reason the fish didnt want to hang around the camera flash?

i could float that every day and never get tired of it that was the first time ive been on that section weve always stayed in the lower river sence we have a motor on the boat Chuck did a good job at gettin Brian into some fish it was a interesting fight cause the fish went around chucks line several times before he could get it in so i had to hold his pole up and out of the way while they tried to land that beast she was big and bright and had some real fresh bite marks on her

That was a bit of a circus wasn't it! ;) It all worked out the way it was supposed to in the end though! I wonder if Brian is still on cloud 9 from fighting that fish? :D

Looks like it was a great time guys! Nice to see you get out and bonk some fish!

College has been unrelenting as of the last 2 weeks... haven't had ANY free time. Not even the weekends. I met 2 guys in my fly fishing class that are interested in some fishing hopefully in the next week or two. But depending on whether we get some rain down here I might find myself trout fishing instead (of steelheading), which at this point I could care less about because fishing is better then not fishing. Plus, I just learned how to nymph fish today and I'm excited to give it a go :)

Anyways, thanks for posting the pics :D I will try my best to make it the next time!

Ok, I know old post...but what stretch of the sandy is this?? does not look familiar at all to me:confused: But I guess I am only familiar with about three miles of the river anyways. Looking at this gets me exited for winter steelhead season I did not do so well last season for winter fish and am exited to try to improve this season. Ryan
