Ok, I'm excited!! Just got my delivery of pure UV tape!! Its a clear overlay that you can still see the finish through but holey moley it has some shine!!
I think I will us it to put a UV stripe down each of the high contrast and 50/50 flashers for added enhancement. Check out the colors it produces!

I'm planning on putting either a 3/4" strip of it on the backs of the high contrast, but cant decide if I should do the strip or put round pieces on the bent wings of the flasher instead

I wouldn't over complicate your average retail lines or you'll burn yourself out in a few years.
Maybe add a buck or two for a customizable option would be my .02. I would probably add a blank flasher option and sell strips of the tape instead of making tons of stock patterns.
Here's how we would cover it when we were developing new paint schemes for blades: A strip across the bottom, or dots on the wings are the same thing to the fish while under rotation. A strip length wise would better stimulate the fish in thinking the flasher may be a baitfish.
I always found it funny how particular people would be with specific paint requests when I was working in tackle manufacturing. They would come up with wild crap that was the same as simple blades once under rotation and everyone of them swore it was the best thing out there.
There's a fine balance between catching fish and fishermen, though you have to catch one before they catch the other. It's also a fine line between customer service and madness in the fishing industry :D

Alan, I completely understand. I want to put enough options out there that people will at least look at my line and consider it over others. What will draw people in will be the options, but they may only grab a plain chartreuse because it worked in the past. But, if they grab MY Chartreuse, it worked.
Honestly I'm bored with single colored flashers and really enjoy the combos. If I can find the magic bullet, (both fishermen and fish) then hold on!!
BTW, I'm going to introduce another color combo tonight!!!! LOL!!

Well... what's the new color scheme!!!?
Can't wait to get a few of your flashers in the mix. I did ok last year with bling in front of herring, so I'm amped to start ridin shotgun, bumpin plug cuts!
