I have known Alan for a few good years now and I can tell you how very fortunate we are that he calls THIS forum home. I am fortunate I can call him a sort of brother. He is the real deal, as a fisherman, and as a man. He has reached out to many in our community in times of need like a good neighbor. He has given time, bait, lures, food, water, wood and even fishing trips to people on this forum and elswhere when the chips were down and they needed a day to live again. Myself included.
For all of this I am glad to know Alan and hope that somehow, someday I can repay the kindness that he has shown to me and my family. For now, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you my brother!
I will be bear hunting with Alan on Weds, so looking forward to a day in the woods.
