Hey Ed,

Would the guy in the blue hat be the owner and operator of Spotted Owl Guide Service? I've heard about a guy they call Spotted Owl Bob that rows a wood drift boat between Dodge and Oxbow.

That is "Spotted Owl" Bob Plympton. The world famous! hahahaha! Great guy, and awesome guide!

He told me a story once, prolly tells a lot of folks... But there was a gosling that followed "Plan B", his pontoon boat downstream, like it was lost, or thought Bob was "Mom!" He took the thing home, fed it, and took it back to the Sandy the next day to help find its momma. I like Bob, only met him twice, and floated once but he was super cool.
