I'm looking for a high quality left hand retrieve low profile bait caster for steelhead. If you have one that's in good shape you're looking to sell shoot me a PM. Oh yea, and I need it before this Tuesday!:roll eyes: So we'd have to be able meet up in the Oregon City/Portland area.
Thanks!
Ryan
Dude! Good Luck! Why the speedy needy?

I have a dozen right (correct) hand reels I never use and could give you one if you want to be even more akward than the spinning reel :D

Hey now! Lefty's have rights too! :P And yea, the right hand retrieve is a little awkward! I've tried it before. Alan, you fish Abu's right? I was thinking of trying out one of the Revo models, just not sure what one. You have any recommendations?

Here's the newest Revo reel It's got all the bells and whistles. Will cast a very light weight:

A little spendy but I'm sure it's worth it. Doesn't appear to come in a left hand crank though.

Hey Ryan, The Abu's are my favorite. I only have a bunch of the Revo S and Revo SX's and they are awesome! I havent gotten any of the snazzier ones yet. I use the S models for drift fishin and the SX for float fishing, and I'm not sure if it's just my luck but my S's perform better than the SX (as far as light weight fishin goes atleast).

That Revo Mgx is rad looking, A little out of my price range though! I think $200.00 is my max range.
I'm thinking the Revo SX at the moment.

I casted the Okuma Serrano last weekend. Solid reel and freaking butter smooth. I would get one if I needed one. Msrp is 169.
Did you get to play with one left handed, looking on the Okuma site, they only show a RHD model.

It was a righty, but I thought it was available in left. hmmmm, bummer.

The low profile reel I have is a older model Shimano Bantam Curado. This reel is smooth and you can cast light gear with it. I bought it several years ago and paid $139.99 for it but have no idea if you can find one for any near that now. I have several Abus that i like very well but when it comes to casting lighter stuff I like my Shimano.

OK Ken I know you don't like Shimanno (A Little heavy on the N key) but I think that in your case it is just operator error!
