Check this out@! During the 08 american shad run I was fortunate to see just exactly how much white sturgeon love eating american shad. When I say they love them IM not saying they eat them off the bottom of the river with much happyness but rather they love them so much that they are willing to come right to the bank of the mighty columbia and take a shad out of a persons hand!!! we did this also it was so fun one guy fell in trying to feed one and he landed on top of a 6 plus foot guy and the fish just scooted out a foot or two farther and continued to come up stream to get my fish it didnt spook him at all the guy that fell in was kinda scared being 'on' that big guy it looked like he was trying to ride it like a horse I cant find the pics we have of it maybe I'll edit this when I find them
