Bonneville Counts?!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you kidding me? the daily steelhead counts haven't exceeded 14,000/day in the recorded history of the bonneville dam counts. 3 days ago = 18,000
2 days ago = 28,000
1 day ago = 34,000!!!!!!!
What is going on with this year....... The coho at the coast are off the hook and the steelhead numbers coming in are ludicrous. Any theories as to why this is happening this year. Personally, I think it is mainly due to ocean conditions....

I was just going to say it was blind luck, that we have a bunch of fish in the BigC, in Astoria and in Hood area..........just did not want to miss giving ODFW credit for any of this? :o

GAH... what i would give up to be sitting somewhere hot out east on a hole that is filled to the brim with even a couple dozen of those 34,000 summer steelhead... :)
