Rod from B.C. Fraser River area [Fishing with Rod] posted this video on his youtube page, where we found the peamouth ident (http://northwestfishing.info/showthread.php?t=768) video.....This video talks a bit about fishing in areas where ******** can often occure and how to land and release salmon with the correct net. I am happy to show anything that can make such an ugly thing any amount more humane. I can think of 3 key areas where a guy should be standing with a C&R net all day.......just not sure if it would help the fish in those areas any. Anyways the principle is the same, fighting snagged fish is no fun and its hard on the fish and on your gear. If it must occure for one reason or another that is an acceptable evil of a certain area or location, that is when the purpose of this video becomes very clear and I thank Rod for taking the time to illustrate how to fish these areas with some amount of dignity.
