SSSF Winter 2010 Group Float Photos

For Winter 2010 we did our group float on the Sandy River again where last year we landed 5 fish for 6 boats. This season we had about a dozen boats but fish seemed harder to come by. Wheather was also once again super! Here are some of the photos I shot during the float while I took a drift with Ed Fast, Tom and 30 other SSSF members : )

    A perfect January morning

I spent the morning hanging out with Ed and Tom. Great guys to spend a day with : )

Where in the world are we here, in the photo above? I bet you have looked up here before! On last the last Winter float I landed a dandy native hen in this spot : P

Firefish drove down from Washington to hang out with us! Glad you made it, pleasure to talk to you in person...

Tom caught the only fish in our boat, sorta : )

Another of my favorite spots in the Oxbow float

GW landed and released a nice native hen.. Congrats! Photo from GW, ty : P

Todd, Ed 'and who's the half face?' hanging at the take out

Wheather held for us and all things considered the water looked pretty good. A little low as mentioned by some. One of the guides with us I spoke to mentioned that most of the brat ball had gone through already and we would be looking for natives next. There was a few hookups and one member 'GW' landed and released a nice winter hen.

An enjoyable day on the Sandy See you guys again soon!
