Thread: Spinners and Lighting

    Default Spinners and Lighting

The point in a spinner is to make "noise", reflect light, and get a fishes attention.....I made this little flashy thing for Dani because she loved playing with my R&Bs before I put hooks on them....and well, Bluefoxes are useless once you start fishing R&Bs.

So, here's her spinner. Very flashy, lots of differences in the color spectrum to get her attention and keep it.

She keeps it with her and has it with her almost as often as she has her baby doll.
Well tonight, we decided to play with some lighting.....mainly glow in the dark stars. I got the idea to super charge the stars with the black light...little did I know what the results would be.

Pretty cool....I'm curious to see what other tackle I have glows like that under the blacklight.

Yeah, but I start to wonder how crazy things could get with color glow in the dark paints.

It does get crazy sometimes at CC this time of year with the dipsticks that actually start fishing at 4:30 in the morning with the glow in the dark corkies. Only seen it happen once this year. I had to explain the rules to them. Pro-cure makes some UV goop scent stuff to use on lures. I haven't tried that yet.

I remember reading someone posting "get your spot and sit back and watch the shooting stars" (glowing corkies) till you have enough light to start fishing.
