Omak's the best trout fishing I've ever experienced. When are you goining? I go during the spawn when its catch and release, the fish school in the shallows on the sandy beaches. You can literaly watch 38" fish in 10" of water hit your lure or fly.

If I had three days for Memorial weekend, I'd take the driftboat or sled down and camp near the McKenzie or Middle Fork Willmette and spend a few days hammering some Springers. Especially this year when we should get some fish.

    Another vote for springers.
