Nehalem Bay

We are gonna camp next weekend in Nehalem and we wanted to see the campground first so me and Tracy drove down yesterday. The campground is realy nice and big with a lot of trails and the beach just over one hill. When we started heading home we went north and stopped at a few beaches one of them was Hug Point. There are a lot of caves, one is really big and there is a log jammed up in it and there is a waterfall too.





I will have a ton of stuff to post next week cause right now my aunt has my camera.

They are so good for pictures. I tell them were to sit and then back off but I have to keep there attention and keep saying 'stay' and there were other dogs running all over out there they had so much fun.

That waterfall is only about 8 feet high and you can climb up on top of it.

If you get the chance fish around the mouth of the SALMONBERRY, there should be some very big meat moving into that stretch of h2o right around now. have fun out in that neck of the woods.

We are going to stay in the bay for crab and go out to the jetty in hope of greenling. I don't think Tracy is taking all the steelhead and salmon stuff, but that would be nice to hit.

That area is about a mile long between the north and south point that you can't get around and there are 3 small points inbetween that are full of caves and that waterfall. I can't wait to get there again with my video camera.
