It's that time of year, if we can only get the weather to cooperate!
We've been doing pretty well since february for Willamette Springers this year. With the projected run numbers we should be in for a great season. All the early signs point towards a fun couple of months! Pretty soon they should start showing up in targetable numbers on the Clackamas as well.
If you want to get in on either of these fisheries don't wait, dates are already filling up fast!
It's also time to get ready for some fiesty Summer steelhead, plus we have broodstock and late EC winters still running around the Clack.
I will be fishing for Steelhead and Chinook in the Clackamas until late june (water levels permitting) and then will switch to the Columbia for Summer steelhead for the next couple months.
I'm looking forward to fishing with you!
