Here's your chance to access some of the most scenic salmon holes and steelhead drifts in the state!

This pic is of me with a wild Sandy River Spring Chinook caught in mid May:


The seasons on the Sandy River are not affected by the strict regulations on the Columbia and Willamette rivers. When they are closed, the Sandy will still be open! We will start our Spring Chinook/Summer Steelhead combo trips in late April and continue right through July.

Each year, the peak of the run is different. Some years it is May, others June and others July. So far this year, May was very good and should continue right into June.

I advise you choose your desired dates now and we can always reschedule based on conditions and run timing if need be.

Spring Chinook/Summer Steelhead combo trips are always exciting. Our biggest Summer Steelhead are often caught in deep Chinook holes on very large baits. Our most exciting Spring Chinook are often caught on spinners in three feet of water while fishing for Summer Steel!
