Thread: Want to fish for tuna?

Default Want to fish for tuna?

I'm booking a tuna trip next Sunday out of Garibaldi for my girlfriend and I for her birthday. It's on a small charter that only takes 3-4 anglers but must be a minimum of 3. We had a 3rd person lined up but they backed out. Seat is $250, a lot less than the $350-450 of other charters. Anyone interested? Here's the link to the guide. http://luckyluckettfishing.com/index.php

Oh party on you're fishing with Terry! Very nice guy, I fished Chinook with him once up at Bonnie. Great guy and he should put you on the tuna! Very nice boat too. You should have a lot of fun! Wish I had $250 and I'd join you! Let him know I say hello he should remember me.

Weather was great, ocean was as flat as it gets. We took home 16 tuna. They seemed to be running pretty big this trip, averaging about 25lbs. Girlfriend caught the biggest tipping the scales at 30 even. We caught a few jigging, but mostly on the troll. I'd say we have in excess of 150lbs of tuna loins. She can't wait to go out again!
