    Default Anyone else getting excited?!

It's almost time! for the 4th time in history - Timberline lodge had lifts running before halloween with a 30" base! Since then, warmer weather killed their base but it should get stacking up again pretty soon. It's gonna be a great year!
Who else here either snowboards or ski's? If you do lets figure out either carpooling or meeting up there for a day of shredding in about a month when things get really rolling!

Whenever you wanna rip em stick em, lemme know. I can always get "sick" for a day of shreddin.

They owe me a couple days at the market right now. More like a weeks paid vacation... anyhoo, there's gotta be more snowriders on here. I'm sure of it.

I got a new burton with V rocker last year and only went up about 12 times but damn reverse camber is a magical thing.
I'm gonna find a way to have alot of days off this winter as well.

Yeah! I ripped my buddies V-Rocker for a day last season. It is very unusual at first, but you adapt so quickly.
I have the Lib with the Magna-Traction. The wavy thing people second glance in the lift line. It forces you to carve beautifully, and ice is never an issue with those edges. Its crazy how it cuts down any crusty overlayer.

Yeah man I debated getting a board with both reverse camber and magne traction last year. With how much of a contact edge you get with the v rocker I rode a few solid ice days last year with no problems. I was beating the snow mobiles down the runs.. Maybe once I destroy this one though.

That board looks like 10mm traditional camber, I bet you have miles of pop. that's the only thing I miss from my traditional boards is the power. My custom X, and Dragon were MEAN decks.

one day last year I was up there when they got something like 20 inches in the day, and between each run your tracks were gone - the rockers float without having to get a molalo or fish and you don't have to powder wheelie at all or set your stance back.

I think my next board will probably have v-rocker and ics.

10 mil standard camber. You know the snow too well dude!! I always forget how proficient you are on the frozen water, let alone liquid water!

I like the power for sure, but after riding a backasswards camber'd stick... I want one. I don't ride the parks as much as I used to, so I feel ok about giving up the gnar "pop" of a classic camber ride. I am way big into the "backcountry" gig, and "freeriding" so having a floaty, light, easy to maneuver stick would be prime. Tax returns baby! Yea!

haha, there was a time in my life where I did as much or more board sports than fishing for a few years - good 'ol reckless middle and highschool days... That knee surgery paused that for a few years though!

They got 10 inches at timberline by 4pm today, it was still snowing and it hasnt been updated since!

I still hit kickers and rails alot, but I ride alot of BC too in search of powder. I kinda like thrashing on the edges of runs and all the natural hits.
