Winter Steelhead Trips!!

IT'S TIME FOR WINTER STEELHEAD!
If you are interested in a winter steelhead trip, it is time to book your dates, now! Please check your calendars and make note of vacation times, when guests are coming, etc. and get your date reserved.
I will be fishing the Sandy and Nestucca rivers and occasionally others.
Upper Sandy river trips are from the raft and lower river trips are in the drift boat.
Rates are as follows:
1 seat (raft or drift boat).................................$150
either boat reserved for yourself........................$250
seat in drift boat if 3 people..............................$125
If you book more than one date at a time, you will get a discount.
Don't foget! I pay $25 in trip credit for each new $150 referral! ( i.e. if your referral books a standard two seat trip with me for $300, you get $50 credit!) It is unlimited, by the way, so you can earn as many free trips as you want. That's a pretty good deal, huh? It is up to you to collect on this offer.
If you haven’t fished for Winter Steelhead on on any of these rivers, you owe it to yourself!
On the coastal rivers, we will be fishing for Winter Steelhead through the end of December. Most will be hatchery fish, which you get to take home. Some of the fish will be wild Steelhead and we should catch a few Winter Chinook Salmon, as well!
Once we get into the Sandy River season, we will be fishing for big, wild winter steelhead, hatchery winter steelhead and hatchery early summer steelhead. All three on the same trip! A typical trip this season should produce several hookups per angler, with some days producing many more! Believe me, when it is on, you can hook more fish than most hook in an entire season.
Here are some pics of some Winter Steelhead action:
for a video action of a Sandy River wild Winter Steelhead, click on the following link.
Don't worry, you usually won't have to chase a fish down the river like I do in the video. Also, on a guided trip, you reel the fish in, not me. The video was not shot on a guided trip, but was hooked using the same techniques you would be using:
(you might want to turn the sound down if you don't like loud music)
Well, I just tested that vid and it freezes right before you get to see the big fish! I will fix it soon, so please look again, later.
The winter runs overlap with spring Chinook and the main run of summer steelhead. If we get a good snowpack, fishing should stay good well into July. Don't forget to book for that season, as well. There is no need to wait, plus with last year's success being more publicized, dates will fill faster and I will have fewer available for short notice. If there are days you need to take off work, plan around holidays or have guest coming to town, you need to book those earlier in the season.
Thankyou to all of the people from this website that have booked trips!
Let's do it again!
Also, large parties can be accommodated. Get your friends from work together!
Call me if you have any questions
