Hey everyone, my name is david I live close to the sandy river and like to fish as much as I can humanly possible. My choice of fishin is for the elusive steelhead and any kind of salmon. I have been self taught with credit going to the many of men that spent thier time showing me the ropes. Even though I have decades under my belt I am still in the learning process, I use a variety of techniques from bobber & eggs, jigs, hardware, plugs, yarnies etc. you catch my drift. I have found it very rewarding to fish new waters and learn new methods as well as share my own. I am a member of the NWS sandy chapter participate in river clean-up and donate as much time as i can to the rivers and people. I like to meet new people and share different tactics, stories etc. I really like to help someone less fortunate catch thier first fish or one that is having troubles on the water to make thier experience in the great outdoors a pleasant one. My wife just can't figure out for the life of her why I am always heading back to the tackle shop to buy new and different gear, its just exciting to me when I learn something new, when I try it and catch another fish, more weapons added to the arsenal. You just never know heading to a new piece of water the tactic you might want to try. thats a just a little about me and thanks for having me aboard. Have fun, be safe. Ironhead
