Cool Fun times down in the sun :) *PIC HEAVY*

Well I have been fishing quite a bit, which is the reason why I haven't been able to be on here that much. 5 pages from you guys I need to catch up on! Anyways, came to post some pics to get y'all hungry :P Hope you enjoy. Also, I managed to go to the fish hatchery Down in Athens, Texas. I'll put some pics of the fish they had down there

(day out on the water, saw a rainbow in the clouds :P) (Copper head that came out from under our truck I had to kill) (big bluegill I caught) (catfish out at the Hatchery) (paddle fish at the Hatch) (gator at hatch) (short nose gar at hatch) (all species family) (lunker bass program at the hatch, each big bass is over 13lb to be bred with the smaller males) (lunker bass program) (Bass in the spawning tank) (young channel cat) (good size blue cat) (my Channel cat, good size)

    Kewl pics man!

    Lovin the catfish hatchery pic...

How's that lunker bass program working out down there? Remember hearing about it a while back and seemed they were looking to start a strain that was truly world class and by looking at some in that tank, seems very promising...

Thanks! Yea the bass are becoming more and more frequent for fishermen to catch, as well as being quite heavy. The most recent State record bass was caught by the fact of the bass lunker program, they succesfully breeded the record fish with others and released it unharmed. All in all i'm havin a good time!

Hey I realy enjoyed this set of pics, thanks for sharing Stephan. I can name all those fish! but I must say the catfish at the fish window and paddlefish shots, and the monster gar shot, all very interesting. I am all envy!

Bah, we're not jealous. It's just like our 15lb Trout at the hatcheries here, or the big sturgeon at the Bonny hatch. You can't catch them, just look at them.

HA! We only envy your Bass fishing for two months....the ones between the Fall Kings and the Winter Steelhead.

Thanks about the pic, it was entertaining when I saw it and thought I'd throw it up there for a bit.

Dude! Those cats are puuuurrrrrfect eatin' size. Sometimes I miss being able to travel a half hour for big cat catchin'. I have found a place around here but haven't had any luck at catchin'em yet.
