    Ed,

    Let's make it happen. I know where you're talking about, and its a great area, I've been fishing it for MANY, many years. Since I was 2 years old to be exact!

    The mosquitos can suck out there in the hot summer but the fishing can more then make up for it at times.

    We used light steelhead gear and it is about right for cats and carp.

    I might be up for that depending when it is.

    a little update,
    not sure how high that area is due to the columbia height, but next weekend sounds good to me.

    as of right now, an informal gathering for saturday or sunday is what I'm going to plan for. Kids, grill, friends and, hopefully, some catfish and carp.

    Let me know if you want to go.

    p.s., I have a new rigging method I'm excited to try! It should work in the grassy areas.

    Would that be this weekend or the weekend after this one? I'll make it work no matter what day it is....Supposed to be fishing with Rollin one of these days, just hope it doesn't conflict...

    Too bad I've got a family vacation this weekend or I be all about some fried catfish. I grew up on it and its been years since I enjoyed one. And nice cat Ryans better half.
