Do any of you have experience fishing Harriet late in the year? I've only fished it once in the spring, but have heard some rumors of nice browns in there -- don't really know if it's true.

Not to sure about the Browns but my girlfriend caught a 17.5" Brook Trout in that lake in pouring down rain. Was about 8 years ago.

Two fish swim into a concrete wall... One looks to the other and says " Dam!"
You're going to be hard pressed to actually get a Brown out of Harriet. I haven't heard of one being taken from there in a long time.
Float from the bank and drift from the boat.
I have actually caught a few browns from there on Pautzkie Eggs. Ive seen big ones taken on flies and lures in the shallow side with a lot of stumps. Ive also heard that a lot of browns are taken outta there in the winter with sandshrimp, but that's just what ive heard
I haven't fished there in at least 5 years but have caught browns on count-down Rapalas. You stand just down from the boat ramp and throw out to the Pillings and retrieve at varying rates, crank in a couple turns realy quick then wait a second and do a few slow turns then back to quick. Otherwise if you have a boat use realy light wait cokanee/downrigger gear and go down by the dam. Good luck and 90% of the fish we have caught there were early morning.
fishing is a family thing and crabbing and camping and...
Thanks for the input! I'm going to give it a try up there soon.

Yeah, it was actually 3 years ago that I caught 4 or 5 in one 3 day trip. I fish that a lot in the spring and early summer, and since that trip have only gotten two more browns. All on pautzkie eggs on the other side of the lake from the boat ramp where that little creek comes in
