Default Got the kids out today

Finally got both girls and one of the boys out today. Went to go and hit one of the ponds out on Oak Island to find the island closed Oct. 1st..DOH...so we did the backup plan and hit the channel while we were there.
For the way the year was going, it was a banner day. Everyone caught fish, had a couple cats, perch, pike minnow and a few others that I'm not even sure what they were (looked like some type of rockfish?), so overall it was a great time.
If you got kids, might want to think about getting them out there before the rains and the cold really set in and chrome fever catches back up with you

Me too! Many fish landed on his bastardized ultra light fly set up. Only the big ones got the hugs, kisses and pictures....

Reminds me...I finally pulled some pics from the phone...they weren't huge, but it sure was a good time.

Watching Celia pull in that catfish was just a riot...LOL

    Hi Ed,

Other little one is my daughter Madison (she came to me this summer, so I have not been able to introduce her yet).

Was very proud of Celia...was her first trip to catch fish not in a stock pond and she rocked it!

Both girls kept me running that day. Was almost sweating going between rods to bait up and unhook fish and re-cast for them.
Was almost pitch black when we left and they both were asking if I had a lantern so they could keep going...LOL think I created a few fishing junkies...
