Thread: Fishing & Hunting Paradise & The Master Angler Journey!

  1. Talking Fishing & Hunting Paradise & The Master Angler Journey!

Chrissy and I had been working very hard on our fishing skill by spending time with legendary fishing trainer Nat Pagle of Menithil Harbor roots. He lives about 5 miles out of Menithil Fortress and from Pagle Point where he lives and trains you can see the fortress walls across the Bay of Deceptions. After almost 2 years of training we had become Master Anglers and where ready to travel to the famed Booty Bay Fishing Extravaganaza! Booty Bay was where the big boys swam!

Excited to get on our way late one night to Booty Bay for the next mournings Booty Bay Fishing Extraveganza I hardly stoped to notice Nat's stalky shape fading in the distance behind us as we sailed back to menithil for the travel connection. This was to be the last time we ever saw Nat, no one realy knows what happens to Nat after you hit 250 fishing. He was a good man and a fine fishing trainer.

Arriving in Booty Bay the next mourning our gryph had taken us from Menithill all the way to the Southern tip of Stranglethorn Vail. Such a contrast from the dark mystic isle of Menithill, now the warm tropical sunshine that grows big huge pixilated fish!

It was clear that if you wanted to fish in this world, this was the place to be. I thought the touney was to last a few days so I took up an offer from a local gryph pilot to fly me out to what he described as the best bowhunting in the world! Turns out he was not fooling around as I bagged 3 big game animals in just 1 day!

Upon returning we discovered that the Booty Bay Fishing Extravaganza....was already won and had only lasted a short few hours that Sunday we flew in. Thinking about it now, it might be that gryph pilot may have takin us hunting to keep us from the tourney since everyone knew we had been trained by Nat Pagle. The tradeoff was great! We did some great fishing ourselves on our own and our hunting was un-beatable so even though we did not win big, we still had a great trip! The lucky winner caught a huge blue shark with teeth as big as a minor's pick. His prize was the Arcanite Fishing Pole, a fine and worthy prize by any wow anglers standards.

After seeing this place and fishing and hunting here it is easy to see why no one ever wants to leave. The mystery and mystique surrounding Booty Bay captures the senses. Storys of Prohibition and pirate gangs sewing seeds and tending the stills, not so much unlike the world I was raised in but certainly much more beautiful. One the last day of our trip while fishing the evening tide into the sunset I could not help but think about old Nat Pagle and all the help he had been to us on our journey to become master fisherman in a fishing and hunting paradise most will never know.....
