Default Some love to the Glove(s)

    Hey All,

As I was going through some of the recent posts about waders and it got me thinking. Yes, I can fully back that once your feet go cold, it's going to be a miserable day out on the water. We should worry about keeping those feet/toes warm while we are out.
Yet I see no love going out there to the fingers. That's right, no love to the glove. Ah yes, those all important things that after our feet get us to that magic spot, can actually be able to work the rods, reels and all the other gear that we have invested so much to gather and enjoy a sport and the time on that water we love so much.
So I would love to hear what everyone out there thinks about gloves in the fall/winter/spring...? Do you prefer the warmth of wool? Perhaps you whisped to the waterproof of neoprene. Others may lean to the left with the buffalo hair. Or others to the right with the good ol nitril or nothing standby (queue dramatic music to begin springer season shortly...).
Does there really mean that much between fingered or fingerless? Things to consider if you are a bankie or a drifter?

Just curious to see what others out there prefer/use or if nothing else get a laugh and show a little glove love here

Rubbers... Or any fingerless gloves... Thats it. anything else is just going to never get worn. I have all sorts of gloves. Love to keep the hands warm... But keeping the exposed fingers doesnt seem to bother me in particular... Which it should, but as long as my hand, hands(not the phalanges) are covered. Good to go.

Heres some fish'n in gloves of all types!
    Glory shots here!

Fleece lined neoprenes: awesome; especially with the 'mitt flaps'.

Second place: fingerless rag wools. I use them the most, with or without flaps. It's amazing how wet, wool gloves can still keep your hands warm!!

Wool is an amazing fiber. Crazy sheep, or whatever they make the gloves out of... Even inundated with liquids, it still retains like 80% of its insulating properties!

Wool is awesome...which is why I was considering a set of the Bison gloves. They are supposed to be a little softer (don't have the itch) and be just as, if not warmer than the wool...

I have always had a thing for the fingerless neoprene and starting to come around to the regular rubber/nitril (wore them too many years in the shop and can't stand having them on anymore).

Side note: Those are some serious glory shots there Arctic...
