    I mention this on another thread, but get ready in the 9-14 day time frame for a possible Arctic outbreak. Very far out in the forecast models, but there's consistency forming already.

    December 2008 was a once in 40 year event. It will happen again and could this year. 2008 was one of this years analog based off of different data. another thing going for this year is its our second nina in a row. This of course is good if you like below average temps and above average precipitation.

    forecasting weather here is tough 2-5 days out, so take it with a grain of salt.

    2008 was my first winter back in the Northwest after....14 years of New Mexico and SoCal type weather. I was disappointed to hear it's not always like that. I always have my fingers crossed for snow like that.
    Float from the bank and drift from the boat.
