Default First one on my own fly

Got this cookie cutter hatchery buck today. It was like a 16 pounder to me because I got it on my own tied fly. Pink butt, blue and black intruder. He slammed that thing. No chomp chomp. The rod just went down and line started screaming out. It was fun.

Congratulations Charlie! Was that in the same place you got the last fish? I haven't ever really gotten that excited off of catching something I've made. I dunno, I'm odd in general anyway.

    Different river.

You seemed pretty excited about getting them on your own jigs.

I really enjoy the fly tying. If your creative there seems to be no limit to what you can come up with.

Nah, it didn't effect me that much I just noted it. I do enjoy tying as well and I'm totally looking forward to making a bunch of Dolly Lamas!
