Thread: Going costal (if rain allows)!

Default Going costal (if rain allows)!

Looking for someone who would like to make a coast run this weekend. Both of my normal fishing buddies are tied down one with school and another with the military. I hate to fish alone unless it's a river I'm very comfortable with. If anyone's interested please let me know.

    Thanks,
    -Daniel

Steelhead. And I was thinking South Fork Wilson, big/gnat creek, nfn, maybe kitchens are are possibilities or maybe stay here at home and fish an ever so popular creek off the Clackamas. I'm game for really whatever, just gotta see what the rain does.

Well I am game for whatever as well. I have never fished any of the tribs your talking about but not to say I wouldn't either. I have done some south coast ones. Nestucca and little nustaca as well. If you want to lets hit that one on the clack it should be ok here soon. I was in OC the other day and the mouth is huge so something has to be coming up into the systems. Probally flying right by till they hit that creek. I just made up some yarn balls and going to make some rags as well just gotta get some material. Just an idea and it would be cheaper on us by far.

I agree with youngbuck. Eagle is a bust this year so far. Don't waste the time to go there, because that's what it will be, "A waste of time"!

The rivers are dropping. If Tilly got rained on bad, the Nestucca and Siletz will be a good bet too.

    Don't go to Eagle Creek!!

Upper sections of any coast river should have LOTS of fish!

    Go get 'em.
