Thread: Sandy River fishing presentation Wednesday night

  1. Default Sandy River fishing presentation Wednesday night

    Howdy,

I'm the speaker at the monthly Sandy Chapter of the ANWS meeting tomorrow night.

It's in the big lodge building at Glen Otto Park, next to Jack's at the Troutdale bridge.

I'll cover run stats, plants, predictions, seasons, run timing, methods, etc. for catching winter and summer steelies and spring Chinook.

It starts at 7 but try and be there early, please.

Is there a cost? I can't go but I've got a buddy who has been hitting the Sandy hard unsuccessfully and this would probably help him out.

There's no cost to go to the meeting. If you want to join the ANWS I believe it's 30 bucks, and it used to be 10 bucks for first timers. It's not a bad deal because the membership gets you 10% off at Fisherman's.

Guys, I'm the Sandy River Chapter VP and would like to invite all of you to our meeting tonight. No cost, no membership required (although we'll get you signed up if you'd like), completely open to the public. Ed always put on a great presentation for us and is very generous with regard to our chapter and volunteering his time to do them.........thank you Ed.

Just a small highjack, we also have a Winter Fishing Clinic going on this weekend (Feb. 4th) that Ed will also be a part of (thank you again Ed). It too is free and open to the public. See my post ANWS - Sandy River Chapter Winter Fishing Clinic on the board for details....................it should be a real good/informative clinic.

So, come by our meeting tonight and follow it up with the clinic this weekend. You'll get an overload of great info and techniques.

We even do a raffle at our chapter meetings and have some pretty good stuff................

Ed, I'd say WOW! what a presentation...............................

One of our largest turn-outs in a long long time. Jack counted 73 people total I think last night......

Thanks so much for what you do for our chapter...........................
