That was me talking about cleaning fish in the tub...Love the pics. Thank you for sharing them with us. I really love seeing pictures of kids getting involved in fishing. My dad used to take me crappie fishing at Lake Isabella in California when I was about 9. Man those were great times.

Our shad darts with and without worm and the color was mainly shimmeer chartruse yellow and R&B green. One of Tracy's uncles was counting how many he could catch on the same piece of worm and he would retrieve said piece from the throat of some of the crappie to put back on the hook and go for another I know the count was over 20 before he lost the worm I dont think it had anything to do with the worm those crappie out there in 70 degree water are veracious eaters and the cat fish are crazy because there are so many of them they even go after spinner that are only 3 feet under water and the depth is between 20-30ft.

Default getting a young one hooked

This our youngest one for his 5th birthday. We went fishing with Jack Glass he is really good with kids and Nathan got to stear the boat.

We caught one little native he was so pretty, winter stealies have the best color and flavor I think.

Thats how I got hook'd, for life. I was just along for the ride with my old man until I was 5. Then we went with a guide on a business thing, and I was sick at home from Kindergarten... So along I came. We sidedrifted before it had a name on the Rouge, and I couldn't get enough of those Cheesburger Steelhead! I just remember the guide was really patient, and worked with me until I figured it out. Makes a huge differene! Fantastic way to get a squirt hooked guys!

My kids love Jack but that may be because we would stop in really early to get sandshrimp and he would be there waiting for clients or getting lunches ready and he would give the kids leftover cookies. We went with him late summer a few years back to learn how to walleye fish and we weren't having much luck so he took us to the mouth of the Sandy and had the kids start casting toward a tree stump and they were nailing bass all night
