    He broke his record again last week: 29.5"!
    Mike and Ron are returning today & I'm sure there will be lots of pics to follow (well, some from a disposable cam as Mike's camera died!)

    Yep 29.5" ended up being my biggest at 11/12 lbs. We rented a drift boat and did a 13 mile stretch of the middle Kenai since it was so much fun with the guide the time before. We only hooked about 20 fish on the float because only one person could fish a time and most of the trout had moved upriver for the salmon spawn. We were using a fly that was a combination of 12 beads and 6 pieces of rabbit fur put together to immitate rotting salmon flesh.
    Next year we will just use the guide again ( Ben at Trophy Drifters) and keep it simple.
