    Default Protection for Forage Fish-

    The fish we catch and keep feed on smaller fish. Protection for more of our overlooked forage fish will only help to strengthen the runs of our Sportfish..

    Interesting read, thanks for posting Ken. I really think they should put a limit on shad again too. Sturgeon have come to rely on them during critical warm water months.

    That's a great thought CW. In recent years there has been a lot of effort behind the scenes to help strengthen our fisheries that goes mostly unseen and unheard, I thought I'd bring to light at least one of those efforts.

    Good article, hadn't considered protection of food source for Salmon & Steelhead.
