Not at the hatchery or houses in the area. Werehauser timber co. sells the walk in permit.

    Are you serious!?

Now we have to buy a permit to walk in and go fishing?

$50, I looked it up today. There are 31 available. https://www.wyrecreationnw.com/Permi...itDetails.aspx

I am guessing that little bit of Weyco land will be low on the enforcement totem pole.

I hear the access section of the North Fork Nehalem will also be posted and require a similar permit.

Its never fun having to pay more to enjoy a resource.... but it will be interesting to see how, and if, things will be different now that some of these places will require a permit, in terms of keeping some of the more destructive users out. Depends on how much its enforced, I suppose. I don't personally fish that stretch of Eagle or the NFN very often.

That would be the only way I'd fish it. Check EC off my list.

Now there are 14 available. Looks like people are going to pony up the cash to fish it.

And that will encourage them to keep expanding this requirement.
