didnt notice this until I was trying to figure out what guitar was being used in the first video I linked "Mata Hari" however the list price is over 2000!!!!!!! *gasp* but its a baritone 7 (26.5 scale) tuned to low A) with really great pickups, that is enticing.. its the one used in the video.

Jeez I think at that $$ I'd go full custom with one of the amazing custom shop luthiers out there.

I like how incredibly simple that guitar is though.

Well this one is def in the running for me, also 26.5 scale... So only issue here I see if the gloss neck, but everything else is the way I want it. Cost about the same as the lower end Iron Labels.. I had an MH 1000 up until a few years ago and it was my favorite metal guitar so I am very into this model, just hadnt considered the 7 string...

So after ton of looking around for weeks and realizing how broke I am... I am going to try my best to grab one of these Jackson 7 String JS22-7 "$199.99" This is the only el~cheapo 7 string that is 26.5 scale, which will help out with the tight A tuning I need for what I generally wanna play. Its not the best but I could at least start practicing again, maybe drop an SD in to the bridge position.. Anyways I wasn't sure about this until I saw this kids video. He needs to learn how to tune a guitar but.. the idea is what I am looking for. There are dozens of guys playing this guitar out of box if you type it in youtube search.. Everyone seems happy and just changes the bridge pickup so IM game So then my plan is amplitube4.. About all I can afford atm but that's ok with me!

    Yep Definitely.

Have you looked at the Chapman ML7?

The Chapman "Rob Scallon" signatures sound pretty good from what I've seen as well:

The Ibanez GIO line is pretty darn cheap too, but might have fit and finish issues
