Bonneville Counts?!!!!!!!!!!!!
Are you kidding me? the daily steelhead counts haven't exceeded 14,000/day in the recorded history of the bonneville dam counts. 3 days ago = 18,000
2 days ago = 28,000
1 day ago = 34,000!!!!!!!
What is going on with this year....... The coho at the coast are off the hook and the steelhead numbers coming in are ludicrous. Any theories as to why this is happening this year. Personally, I think it is mainly due to ocean conditions....

So yeah I don't get what you meant Matthew about how not talking about the dam counts is related to umm... well whatever, i didn't get it. good luck if you do end up hitting the deschutes or the klick

GAH... what i would give up to be sitting somewhere hot out east on a hole that is filled to the brim with even a couple dozen of those 34,000 summer steelhead...
You guys have NO idea.
Or, even a hole with just one who is interested in biting my #5 RnB... :P
