Thread: SSSF Fall 09 Group Float Photos, Pic Heavy

  1. Thumbs up SSSF Fall 09 Group Float Photos, Pic Heavy

These floats are always an adventure just waiting to be captured. I never know what IM going to shoot when I start the day but somehow by the end of the day I end up with a great set. Wormy took a bunch of video that can be seen here [video by Worm slayer from fall float]

The water was very low making for a few challenging spots. To add to the adventure I heard that 'abandon ship' was yelled at least once but no one was hurt, just wet or sun burned

Ed Fast came through for us in our boat with a very nice buck. Another day saved by R&B #5 brass! I was catching trout and an occasional pike minnow on my micro bead setup.

The party split apart by the end of the day with Terry, Brian and his dad heading on down to Carver and Our boat stayed behind a bit longer to try for just one more fish! No take out photos so I leave you with my most colorful catch of the day!

Thanks everyone for your participation, very nice to meet you all! Lets do this again this winter in Jan-Feb 2010!!!

Great pictures Matt!! I love that one from the front of the boat when you're about to go down the rapids. I'd love something like that for my wallpaper.
Float from the bank and drift from the boat.

That shot of the rapids is really cool. Any idea if that could be blown up for a wall mount shot Matt???

I am setting up a fishing room in my basement and the pic's you take would make for some great wall mounts. Now all I have to do is figure out to print them so they don't come out like a thumbnail...

Costco will print off pictures for you in various sizes at a very resonable rate.

I think 8x11 is something like 1.50 each.
Float from the bank and drift from the boat.
