I fished this river a few time growing up. I can only imaginethe scale of this operation and what it would take to finaly come to this point. This river once supported a chinook run over 80,000 fish a year. Guides would claim catches of 15 to 25 fish in a day below Iron Gate dam in Hornbrook CA.

The recent crash of California stocks became of federal interest and the solution actually had to pass across the desk of president Bush.

This will be a historic event I will be watching close....although it may take the rest of my life to complete.
